The personnel was CARING offered me a nicely decorated and extremely pleasant room with a nice bathroom, high ceiling. The location was peaceful and comfy for me. This hotel was located in a residential area.

The hotel was nicely appointed, thoroughly enjoyed the canal view from our classic double room. Thanks to the very friendly staff everything was very good, including a huge variety of brilliant food. The location was perfect, right at San Stae Church. Moreover, it was adjacent to walking distance to St Marks Square, the Grand Canal, and a castle with all the right upgrades.

The location made it easy to catch vaporetto rides to explore Venice, and the hotel's beautiful lobby and charming decor added a magical touch to our vacation.

In my wife's opinion, the breakfast service was a bit slow and confusing, and a play area for kids would be great.

A fine historic stay with a nice marble bathroom. The location was perfect, a short stroll to local cafés and sights. The air conditioning was efficient, a much-needed relief after a sweltering day. On a hot night without air conditioning, we had to deal with both the heat and the mosquitoes, made for less than ideal sleep.

I had a wonderful stay, the location was perfect for easy access to the Biennale, the centre of Venice and all the interesting places to visit. The room was immaculate, comfortable and warm. The staff were super friendly, knowledgable and efficient.

I was very happy there, I would love to go back one day.

A great location 4-5 stops on the water bus at s Stae from the rail station,,, a very tastefully modern interior in a beautiful old building with facilities over looking the Grand Canal. 20 mins walk to St Marcos and 15 to Rialto was perfect as it allowed escape from the tourists and opportunity to appreciate some 'local' eateries. We had a junior suite which was wonderful with a large bathroom and a wonderful shower. The hotel offered 3 stately lounge areas which offered a welcome respite from walking the wonderful streets and canals of Venice. For the less mobile a water bus pass for 3-4 days will ensure an easy ride to the tourist epi centre.

Charming atmosphere in a historic building, complete with original features that add to its character. Close proximity to the Grand Canal allows for easy access to water transport, particularly the Vaporetto at San Stae.

Navigating to the hotel can be a hassle. It's tucked away in a narrow alley with insufficient lighting and unclear signage. The presence of scaffolding on the outside detracts from the aesthetic appeal, and breakfast service felt inefficient when it should have been a straightforward buffet style. The lack of easily accessible restrooms in the reception area makes it inconvenient, especially after a long day of exploring.

Staff were fantastic and very accomodating! Location for us was perfect!! Vaporetto stop line #1 right outside our door!! Breakfast was great, lots of selection and better than most we experienced throughtout Italy! More expensive than what we are normally used to but all in all a great experience and I would do it all over again in exactly the same place!!!! Thanks for a "room with a view" the Grand Canal is so very unique! Great place to people watch!

Couple seeking charm and comfort

The room was spacious and had this vintage decor that captured the essence of the place,, not to mention the fine views of the canal while sipping your coffee. The breakfast staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and offered us more than what was on the menu,, even bringing over some local pastries just to be nice.

It wasn't exactly cheap,, but I'd say it was acceptable given the location and vibe.

Clean and top quality place, caring staff. Very good building and rooms with a lovely view. Stunning and lovely location, not very far from San Stae Church.

Couldn't recommend more for a weekend break

Charming hotel, and fantastic amenities. We loved the easy access to the vaporetto stop just 20 meters away for exploring the city and the beautifully designed marble bathroom in our room.
